This website

This website runs on our own server. When you visit it, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to deliver the page and defend against attacks. These server logs are stored only briefly.

No cookies, no tracking

We use no cookies, no analytics and no ads. Fonts and images are served from our own server; no third-party content is loaded.

The store buttons lead to Apple or Google, whose privacy policies apply there.

No account, no tracking

What happened? needs no user account. We use no ads, no tracking and no analytics.

Game questions

When you ask the AI game master a question, the text of your question, the last questions of the round and the story are sent to our server and from there to Anthropic (USA) to generate the answer. We do not store your questions. Anthropic processes the data under its API customer terms and does not use it for training.

Voice input

Speech recognition is performed by your device's operating system (Apple or Google), which may send audio to their servers. We only receive the recognized text.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. To unlock content we use RevenueCat (USA), which stores a random, anonymous user ID with your purchases. We never receive your name or payment details.

Push notifications

If you own a pack and allow notifications, we store a push token and your app language with RevenueCat to tell you about new stories. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

On your device

Your progress and cached stories are stored locally on your device only.

Hosting

Our server runs on Expo (EAS Hosting, Cloudflare infrastructure), which processes technically necessary connection data such as IP addresses.
